Fritz Hansen Announces the new NAP chair
Danish furniture brand Republic of Fritz Hansen introduces the NAP™ chair now available with wooden legs. In this new edition of the popular NAP™ series designed by Kasper Salto, the organic shell is complemented with a bentwood base made of natural oak veneer. The new NAP™ is now available to dealers and will be available to the public on February 1st, 2015.
NAP™ is a series of light weight chairs, armchairs, bar-and counter stools designed for optimum comfort. NAP is an abbreviation for Normal, Active and Passive. The nylon shell is naturally adapted to the body’s shape and allows the user to sit comfortably for hours in a variety of positions.
As with the original NAP™ chairs, the standard version of the NAP™ with wooden legs comes with a nylon shell with or without armrests in four different colours including pepper gray, milk white, butter yellow and coffee brown. NAP™ is also available with seat upholstery in Divina fabric from Kvadrat.
